2019 Year In Review
Happy Holidays! We hope you enjoy this quick recap of our year, which has been another big one for Rebecca in particular!
In January, Rebecca and Daniel visited Jim's folks in New Mexico before Rebecca began working full time in the FDA Laboratory of Immunobiology supporting the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research.
In February and March we did what we could to stay warm!
In April, Stephanie and Jim attended the French Quarter Fest in New Orleans, Louisiana. More photos here!
In May, Rebecca attended an immunology conference in San Diego, California. More photos here!
Also in May, Stephanie and Jim enjoyed an epic road trip from Denver, Colorado to Las Vegas, Nevada via Vail, Colorado National Monument, Moab, Goblin Valley, Capitol Reef, Grand Staircase-Escalante, Bryce, Zion and Lake Meade / Hoover Dam. More photos here!
In June, Stephanie visited her Aunt Susan in Atlanta.
In July, Stephanie and her folks celebrated her sister Christine's milestone birthday in Athens, Ohio.
In August, Stephanie and Jim enjoyed the Delaware beaches (Bethany, Dewey, Rehoboth).
In September, Rebecca was thrilled not to be starting yet another semester!
Otherwise, the summer was enjoyed locally with outdoor activities and family visits.
In October, Rebecca married Daniel Kim. The bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, ceremony / reception, and other events were fantastic, and we are thrilled to welcome Daniel to our family!
Also in October, Stephanie and Jim celebrated their silver wedding anniversary, and Jim was recognized for 30 years of federal government service!
In November, Rebecca and Daniel honeymooned on the Big Island of Hawaii. More photos here!
Later in November, as out of town family had just attended the wedding, Stephanie's folks hosted an intimate Thanksgiving with only the newlyweds and their parents!
In December, Stephanie and Jim explored Raleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill, North Carolina where we appreciated the beautiful scenery, mild climate, and delicious BBQ!
We are enjoying the winter holiday in D.C. and Maryland before Stephanie and Jim head to Miami for New Year's Eve followed by a week in the Florida Keys!
