Santa brought Stephanie a floor loom and she has already woven several beautiful wool rugs.
While Rebecca participated in an honor band at Frostburg, Stephanie and Jim toured Western Maryland and Southern Pennsylvania.
Frank Lloyd Wright's "Falling Water" was magical in the snow.
The farms and covered bridges were beautiful.
Spring was colorful and before long the sheep were ready to lose their wool!
There was lots of activity on our pond.
Rebecca performed at Disney World, in the pit orchestra for the school musical, and in the spring concert.
Heavy rains in early summer flooded our stream, reaching the barn!
We joined Jim's folks for a fantastic "four corners" tour of New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado.

Rebecca volunteered more than 100 hours at the National Aquarium in Baltimore.
Rebecca spent the rest of the summer at band camp, volunteering at the town music festival and cycling and rafting.
We also visited Mary & Bo at their beautiful new house on an Eastern Shore canal near Bethany Beach.
Rebecca joined Stephanie's folks as a volunteer at the bee booth at the Great Frederick Fair.
Jim & Stephanie spent their anniversary weekend in Boston where they enjoyed two performances (Whisperings at Steinert Piano and VGO at Symphony Hall).

In October, we made mozzarella cheese in our kitchen with Christine and Bob and toured several farms.
It was a very busy marching season for Rebecca that paid off with a fine performance at the National Championships!
Stephanie's folks prepared feasts to celebrate Stephanie's birthday and Thanksgiving. Rebecca enjoyed scrambling around Cunningham Falls.
At home, we upgraded the electrical service and renovated two bathrooms.
Rebecca's winter concert was fantastic and included "snow" falling from the sky in the auditorium.
We celebrated a few days early since we fly to Costa Rica on Christmas morning and return on New Years Eve. Happy Holidays!
